Mick Barber is the founding Principal at Agere. He's responsible for leading the firm's market strategy, commercial vision, and culture.
With over 20 years of experience in global executive leadership roles within both private and publicly traded companies, Mick embarked on his professional journey as an account executive, successfully managing a territory and consistently meeting quotas. His career progression led to greater responsibilities in international and domestic sales, operational leadership, and executive management.
Mick specializes in guiding companies in global expansion and developing teams by integrating best practices in business development, sales, strategic enterprise account management, and negotiation. His diverse background in operations, law, project management, finance, and professional services equips him to mentor individuals from various vocational foundations, helping them transition into seller-doer roles. He also helps team members embrace CRM platforms to streamline their sales workflow while ensuring efficient and accurate forecasting and reporting for executive management.
Mick Barber earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Kansas, an MBA from the University of Southern California, a B.S. degree from the University of Redlands, and a Master's Certificate in Project Management from the University of Pittsburgh. He resides in Pennsylvania with his wife of 30 years and is a proud father to three adult children.
